we paddled our canoe on the lake and stopped at a gravel bar to explore the surrounding forest...it was a beautiful rain forest looking magical with the warm evening light filtering through the trees...lots of mosses, variety of ferns, cedars, douglas firs...one of the best things was how much fun our pooch had..Manu bounced around on the forest floor and walked over logs and just had a great time running around in circles and exploring and smelling all this cool stuff
The rocks below the cascade almost look suspended in mid-air, don't they?
